Winter Too

Our love bloomed quickly

A seed soaked in water and sun

Our hearts tending

Mighty nurture with the help of nature

The curious coming of the bud

Our desire to know what shape and color

The flower opening

Just in time for the first frost

Setting in by surprise

We lost

The seasons in between

The garden went raw

Cut through with a freezing wind

That flower falling too soon

Buried by ice and wasting snow
