Float outside of hours
I pet my dog and my cat

The hushed three of us
Soothing purring and soft breathing
A meditation on comforting
Extended measures of a mantra
Our quiet hearts beat
Mellow down to lulled pulses
Some sweet melody unheard
Blend of silence and slow time
